The St. Catharines, Ont., native added that he and his affected crew members are “resting and isolating.”

His positive diagnosis has forced him to cancel shows in Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Milwaukee and Saint Paul, Minn. Green has moved upcoming shows in Montreal and Toronto from next week to February 2022.

After nearly 20 months off the road, Green, who is also a member of post-hardcore outfit Alexisonfire, headed out on his first post-pandemic tour in September. Following a run of shows in the U.S., Green told the Sun he was looking forward to playing across Canada this fall.

“There’s just nothing like being able to travel across this impossible country and play music for people because I feel something different than any other place I go to,” Green said.
