Travis Kelce may have joined Taylor Swift for a weekend getaway together, after the pop star flew out of Kansas City on Saturday afternoon.
Swift had been in Kansas City since Thursday, when she flew in from her Eras movie premiere in Hollywood to watch Kelce play for the Chiefs in the NFL.
Her private jet flew out of the city on Saturday afternoon – but a someone’s sneakers were spotted climbing the steps on the plane before it took off, and it might just have been Kelce.
The shoes in question appear to be the new Travis Scott golf Air Jordan sneakers that dropped on October 13.
Kelce has been seen wearing Air Jordans before and is so well known for his fashion and style taste, it would be no surprise if he already has a pair of the new release, which cost $170 and are already sold out on the Nike website.
Kelce and the Chiefs, of course, do not have a game this weekend after they were handed the Thursday night slot against the Denver Broncos. The Chiefs won that game 19-8, with Kelce starring as Swift cheered him on from the stands.
It was reported earlier this week by TMZ that Kelce and Swift were planning to spend the weekend together. She was believed to be at his home in Kansas City the day after the Broncos victory.
The Chiefs play next on Sunday, October 22 at Arrowhead Stadium against the Chargers.
Speaking before the Chiefs beat the Minnesota Vikings last week, Kelce said his romance with Swift had left him feeling on top of the world.
‘As all the attention comes, it feels like, you know – I was on top of the world after the Super Bowl and right now even more on top of the world now,’ he said.
‘You have got a lot of people that care about Taylor, for good reason. Got to keep living and learning and enjoying the moments.
‘We’re learning with the paparazzi taking photos all over the place but it comes with it.’
Kelce has insisted too that his private life will not distract him when it comes to football. And if anything, given his current form, Swift is having the opposite impact with him playing so well.
Kelce took to the field on Thursday with a sprained ankle, as well, after getting hurt in the win against the Vikings.
Swift has not commented on her links to Kelce herself but also had a big week with her move premiere.
The Eras Tour film had brought in over $100million in presales before it hit the screens on October 13.
She resumes the tour next month, with the first date on November 9 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
