TUNIS, Nov 25: Kuwaiti athlete Nawaf Hamasha won the silver medal in 110 meters hurdles competition on the first day at the 8th Arab Championship in Athletics for Juniors and Girls, hosted by Tunisia.The competition took place in Sports Village in the Rades region in Tunis, 15 Arab teams participated in presence of the Tunisian Minister of Youth and Sports Kamal Dokish.

The head of the Kuwaiti delegation participating in the championship, Abdulaziz Manouh Hashash, congratulated his victory and expected the Kuwaiti competitors to reap more medals. The eighth edition of the Arab Athletics Championships for juniors and girls kicked off today in Tunisia, with the participation of more than 391 athletes from 15 Arab countries. (KUNA)
