Man Utd boss Erik ten Hag wants to sign another Paul Pogba and deal makes perfect sense | Football | Sport
When it comes to acquiring Kane this summer for a record fee, however, it’s a pursuit that makes perfect sense.
United need a world-class striker. Cristiano Ronaldo and Edinson Cavani have been stop-gaps in recent years, but now United want somebody who is operating fully at the peak of their powers.
Kane, without a doubt, falls into that category.
It’s been another turbulent year at Tottenham, with the north London giants toiling in every competition under bosses such as Antonio Conte and Cristian Stellini – with Ryan Mason poised to be the next person to rule the roost, on a temporary basis.
Yet Kane has continued to shine, netting a commendable 26 goals from 43 appearances across all competitions.
