Taylor Swift and Blake Lively Do Coordinated Night-Out Style

Taylor Swift and Blake Lively are two very high-profile friends, so it’s no surprise that the paparazzi caught them together during a night out in New York City on Saturday. (Swift is clearly enjoying the time off from her record-breaking global Eras Tour!) Heading to the private club Zero Bond downtown, the pair dressed stylishly and in sync—right down to their complementary mini skirts. Still, each of their outfits remained true to their distinct style signatures.

Swift, for one, leaned into the clean, classic, and low-key sensibility that she’s embraced throughout the summer. The singer sported a black cardigan—cue her song of the same name from Folklore—with a pleated gray mini skirt. Her brown patent below-the-knee boots, mini crossbody bag, and layered gold necklaces gave the ensemble a polished feel. Lively, meanwhile, clung to summer style with pieces that were colorful and vibrant (it’s been her fashion M.O. these past few weeks). The actor paired her pink tweed mini with a printed graphic tee and buttoned-up denim jacket; her Chanel bag and printed pumps, meanwhile, made the look feel very uptown (Gossip Girl-worthy, even). 

While the two stars didn’t match outfits from head-to-toe, their cohesive skirts strongly suggest some deliberate coordination. After all, in the world of A-lister outings, nothing’s ever a coincidence.
