By the end of the night Wednesday, Texas A&M baseball just might have earned the biggest win in program history.
The No. 3 Aggies will square off against Florida in the 2024 College World Series at Charles Schwab Field Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska. A victory will send coach Jim Schlossnagle’s team to the CWS championship series for the first time in Texas A&M history.

The Aggies have previously played the Gators, getting past Florida 3-2 late last Saturday night in a rain-delayed game.
A victory against Florida would send it home from the double-elimination tournament. Should Texas A&M lose the game, the Aggies and Gators would face off again on Thursday, with the victorious side in that matchup moving on to the CWS championship series, which begins on Saturday.

The Aggies went 1-2 against Florida in a series in mid-March in Gainesville, Florida.
