Tyson Fury teases ‘some big news coming’

Tyson Fury has trolled Anthony Joshua with by claiming he sparred three top-ten heavyweights after 14 pints of beer.

Fury and Joshua are long-time rivals, with the pair seemingly on a never-ending collision course for a fight that has yet to come to fruition.

And the world heavyweight champion has mocked Joshua with a meme on social media where he compared their diets and lifestyle choices.

Joshua is known for his shredded physique and pinpoint training regimen, while Fury boasts a flabbier frame and once ballooned over 420lbs during his battles with mental health and substance abuse.

Fury shared a side-by-side photo of the pair, with captions underneath both pictures explaining their dietary and lifestyle choices.

Joshua’s reads: “My breakfast consists of yams, eggs and dates followed by a big bowl of porridge, a protein shake, a glass of orange juice and a glass of honey, lemon and ginger”.

Tyson Fury joked that he could beat up three top-ten heavyweights after a night of drinking

But in the other half of the screen, Fury’s photo says “I remember one night I had 14 pints of Fosters and then sparred three top-ten heavyweights and battered them all.”

The pair each fought once last year, with Fury knocking out former heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder in a trilogy bout, while Joshua was beaten for his titles by Oleksandr Usyk.

Fury has flip-flopped in his public comments towards Joshua since the loss, saying at one point that he was “absolutely wounded” by watching his rival drop the belts, before this week now mocking him on a number of occasions.

They have shared a tumultuous relationship in the past that has included mocking facetime calls and even a sparring session while Joshua was only an amateur and Fury had started his professional career.

They were set to fight last summer for the undisputed title, but Fury was forced to face Wilder for a third time due to a legal issue, and Joshua was mandated to face Usyk.

And in an Instagram post on Tuesday, Fury mocked his rival for losing his belts to a Ukrainian, after he had beaten Wladimir Klitschko to originally bring them to the UK.

“You know what I can’t believe?” Fury said in a video filmed during a workout. “That AJ has has gone and given Ukraine all the heavyweight belts back after all my hard work in stealing them. You big useless dosser.

“You let a little man come up from middleweight and set about you and take all your belts. Now it is going to take a real British Lancaster Bomber like me to go and bring the belts back to Britain!

“You are useless dossers honestly bring them to me. I am the ‘Gypsy King’ bring them to me and I will put them in their place.”
