COLUMBIA — Clemson football finishes the 2023 regular season on the road against South Carolina at Williams-Brice Stadium on Saturday.
The Tigers (7-4) are looking to avenge a 31-30 loss to the Gamecocks (5-6) last season that helped keep Clemson out of the College Football Playoff. South Carolina needs a win Saturday to become bowl eligible for the third consecutive year under coach Shane Beamer.
South Carolina’s 2022 win ended a seven-game Clemson win streak in the rivalry. The Tigers own the all-time series 72-43-4. Coach Dabo Swinney is 8-6 against the Gamecocks since becoming interim and later head coach in 2008.
