Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey’s New England nuptials was straight out of a fairytale.
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model and the San Francisco 49ers running back tied the knot in her native Rhode Island at Ocean House, a stunning seaside resort located on the bluffs of Watch Hill.
Kristin Juszczyk, the wife of 49ers Pro Bowl fullback Kyle Juszczyk, shared photos from inside the black tie affair, which featured Niners tight end George Kittle and his wife Claire, and comedian Shane Gillis.
“The most magical weekend celebrating love! Congratulations you two!!” Kristin wrote on Instagram.
Former NFL tight end-turned-broadcaster Greg Olsen and his wife Kara Dooley, Jets defensive tackle Soloman Thomas, former NFL defensive tackle Aziz Shittu, 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy and his wife Jenna, model Devon Windsor, and SI Swimsuit model Brooks Nader and her rumored boyfriend Prince Constantine Alexios attended the wedding.
“This venue is stunning,” Sophia Culpo, Olivia’s youngest sister, said in a recent GRWN video on TikTok, which she filmed at Ocean House. “I am literally looking at Taylor Swift’s home out the window, so that’s pretty cool.”
Culpo and McCaffrey’s wedding weekend kicked off with a dinner with their two families on Thursday, June 26, according to Vogue, which shared the couple’s wedding album on Monday.
“The rehearsal dinner got a little more rowdy than we planned,” Sophia said in the video.
The next day, guests enjoyed a welcome party on the lawn of Ocean House, which was turned into an Amalfi Coast–style garden, with the help of wedding planner Lisa Vorce.
Culpo and McCaffrey officially wed at the 150-year-old Watch Hill Chapel on Saturday.
The bride and groom wore custom Dolce & Gabbana for their nuptials — with Culpo donning a number of custom looks by the Italian designer during their wedding weekend.
“I didn’t want it to exude sex in any way, shape, or form,” Culpo told Vogue of her wedding dress, a long-sleeve, crewneck crepe ball gown and a 16-foot lace veil. “I wanted it to feel effortless and as if it’s complementing me, not overpowering me. There’s so much beauty and simplicity.”
The couple turned the hotel’s Bemelman Gallery into an espresso-martini lounge for their guests — and the cocktail hour, located on a veranda overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, included champagne and lobster rolls.
The couple’s wedding reception took place under crystal chandeliers, where Culpo danced with her father, Peter, and McCaffrey shared a dance with his mother, Lisa.
The magical night was capped off with a supper-club-inspired after-party at Ocean House.
“We got so lucky,” Culpo said, referring to the weather on her wedding day. “Both Christian and I felt our wedding weekend starts our life together as a family. ” wanted everything to feel intimate but also include the gravitas of the moment.”
McCaffrey proposed to Culpo with a stunning oval-cut engagement ring with side stones designed by New York-based jeweler Ring Concierge during a getaway in Utah last April.
