NVIDIA Makes A Statement To The Industry Through a “Casual Dinner”, Jensen Reiterates Taiwan’s Importance In AI

While this might seem like a simple dinner, it wasn’t. The AI markets are currently experiencing a radical shift, where everything is lining up to favor NVIDIA and its huge ambitions. In all this, companies like MediaTek and TSMC are striving to get into NVIDIA’s camp, since not only has Team Green managed to attract the financial side of things, but the future of the markets is now associated with NVIDIA and their decisions, which is why it has become necessary for relevant companies to get associated by Team Green through any mean possible. Here is what NVIDIA’s CEO had to say about the meeting:

They (the companies) have been my partners for almost 30 years. We are going into a new age of technology expansion called artificial intelligence. And Taiwan is at the center of that.

It is reported that Jensen Huang held a casual dinner with top Taiwan executives from companies like TSMC, MediaTek, Foxconn, Quanta, Wistron, Inventec, Pegatron, Delta, ASUS, and many others as well, and while the details of the meeting haven’t surfaced up yet, it is an indication of power and commitment of the “supposed” NVIDIA group, which looks to dominate the markets moving into the future. We all know that Foxconn, Quanta, and Wistron are responsible for NVIDIA’s AI server markets, including their manufacturing and supply, so their inclusion is vital for Team Green in terms of sustaining market share.

The more interesting factor, so should we say partnership is the sudden importance MediaTek has gained in the eyes of NVIDIA. Reports that have emerged this year indicate the fact that NVIDIA-MediaTek isn’t going to be a simple collaboration, rather it will be the “iPhone moment” of the markets since both firms plan on extensively partnering up to cater to the automotive and personal computing segments through their very own custom chips, which is going to be another new venture for NVIDIA. We expect details to be unveiled at Computex 2024, so make sure to look out for our coverage, as we report them right from the show floor.

Well, we won’t go much into the importance of TSMC in the whole ecosystem, since the firm is the brains behind the semiconductor. However, it’s safe to conclude that the group of companies that were invited to NVIDIA’s meeting are the ones to look at moving into the future, and a casual dinner will set the tone for the massive developments, which are expected to be revealed very soon.
