Packers list four questionable, five doubtful to play against Vikings

GREEN BAY – The Packers have listed four players questionable and five doubtful for Sunday night against the Minnesota Vikings.

The four questionable players are safety Darnell Savage (shoulder), receiver Dontayvion Wicks (chest/ankle), defensive lineman T.J. Slaton (knee/foot), and cornerback Robert Rochell (neck).

The five doubtful are receiver Christian Watson (hamstring), linebacker De’Vondre Campbell (neck), tight end Luke Musgrave (kidney), running back Emanuel Wilson (shoulder) and tackle Luke Tenuta (ankle).

Musgrave, Wilson and Tenuta would need to be activated to the 53-man roster from injured reserve in order to play. Wilson and Tenuta were estimated as full participants this week, while Musgrave was limited.

Of the five questionable, Wicks was the only one who didn’t practice this week after sustaining a chest injury at the end of the second quarter against the Panthers.

“It’s going to be conversational to see where he’s at and then test him pregame,” said Head Coach Matt LaFleur when asked about whether Wicks can play Sunday without practicing.

Receiver Jayden Reed (chest/toe) did not receive a game status and is expected to play Sunday. The rookie second-round pick missed his first game of the season last Sunday in Carolina but returned to practice this week in a limited capacity.

Reed needs one catch to tie Sterling Sharpe’s 35-year-old record for most receptions by a Packers rookie (55).

In addition to Reed, Green Bay didn’t issue a game status for the following players who are expected to be available: linebacker Kingsley Enagbare (toe), guard Elgton Jenkins (shoulder/knee), running backs Aaron Jones (knee/finger) and AJ Dillon (thumb), safety Jonathan Owens (knee), and linebacker Quay Walker (shoulder).

The Vikings ruled out cornerback Byron Murphy (knee), receiver Jalen Nailor (concussion), defensive tackle Jaquelin Roy (ankle) and safety Theo Jackson (toe).

Receiver Jordan Addison (ankle), cornerback Mekhi Blackmon (shoulder/illness) and linebacker Troy Dye (wrist) are questionable.

“He’s a guy that obviously we spent a lot of time on in the draft process watching him and then to see what he’s been able to do over the course of the season has been super impressive,” said LaFleur of Addison. “He’s just a guy that he creates a lot of problems because you can’t just totally take away one person because they’ve got other guys to go to.”

Minnesota didn’t issue a game status for the following players who are expected to be available: defensive tackle Sheldon Day (ankle), running back Alexander Mattison (ankle), defensive tackle Harrison Phillips (back), tackle Brian O’Neill (ankle) and linebacker Ivan Pace Jr. (shoulder).
