Warriors vs. Nuggets score, highlights, news and live updates

For the 76th year, NBA basketball on Christmas Day is being played.

The NBA’s second Christmas Day offering is a clash between the league’s last two champions: the Golden State Warriors and Denver Nuggets.

The Nuggets won their first NBA title in franchise history last season, and Nikola Jokić won Finals MVP in the effort. Warriors star Stephen Curry won his first Finals MVP in 2022.

But things have changed since this matchup was announced. The Warriors aren’t the same team they were during the dynasty’s fourth title. Golden State will be missing Draymond Green, one of the league’s better defensive options against Jokić. Of course, the Warriors still have Curry, who can never be counted out.

This game still has the potential to be a close one, as four of the eight matchups over the past three seasons have been decided by a single possession.

Live35 updates

  • Zamir White put the game to bed for the Raiders. Two big runs (43 and 15 yards) has Las Vegas in the red zone with 2:00 remaining. The Chiefs are out of timeouts. The Raiders can run out the clock from here. What an upset.

  • Warriors take a 54-53 lead into halftime despite a rough half from Stephen Curry. Curry didn’t hit his first field goal until a 3 with 2:46 left in the half. He has four points on 1 of 5 shooting from the floor. Andrew Wiggins leads Golden State with 10 points off the bench.

Michael Porter Jr. has 15 points and five rebounds for the Nuggets.
