The World Cup’s ‘sexiest fan’ Ivana Knoll has opened up on her devastation following the news that Jack Grealish will not be a part of England’s Euro 2024 squad.
The former Miss Croatia became an internet sensation during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, after various photos of her wearing revealing outfits in the country’s colours went viral during the tournament.
The former Miss Croatia has three million followers on Instagram and has been pictured with some of the biggest names across sport, including Erling Haaland, Shaquille O’Neal and ex-Formula One champion Fernando Alonso.
She claimed that she was upset to see the Three Lions at the tournament without the Manchester City star but insisted his absence will give Croatia an advantage in Germany.
‘I’m sad England doesn’t have the best team selected but as a Croatia fan I’m happy.’ Knoll told The Sun. ‘With [Kylian] Mbappe not playing and all these other big players not playing then we have a bigger chance.’

Grealish paid the price for a disappointing season at the Etihad. His omission was met with shock among is England colleagues in the camp.
England begin their Euro 2024 campaign on Sunday night against Serbia, while Croatia start with a tough clash against Spain on Saturday evening.
Earlier this month, Knoll, 26 – who has flown out to Germany to support Zlatko Dalic’s side – revealed that she is now single after splitting up with her boyfriend of 10 years.
She told German outlet Bild: ‘I had a boyfriend who I was with for 10 years. We broke up last year. Now I’m single, but I’m not looking for a new man at the moment.’
At the World Cup in Qatar, Knoll attracted a lot of publicity, which was helped by Croatia going all the way to the semi-finals where they were beaten by winners Argentina.
Knoll’s outfits will likely attract a lot of attention again throughout the competition.
She added: ‘I don’t know exactly which ones I’m going to wear yet. I’ll probably have spontaneous ideas. Then I’ll either have something quickly tailored. Or I’ll stick the Croatian flag on clothes that I like. That’s what I did in Qatar.’
One perhaps surprising aspect about her is that she’s a techno DJ, and hopes to play at some events in Berlin during her time in Germany.
Speaking on her plans after the tournament, she said: ‘I’m going on a world tour as a DJ, playing in Greece, Morocco, Montenegro and Croatia, among other places.

‘After that, I’m flying back to Miami. I’ve been living in the USA for two years, and have a work visa there. I’m spending the winter in Florida, and then I’m coming back to Europe in the summer.’
Knoll, has also expressed desires to become a television presenter in Germany covering the Bundesliga, revealing that she was a Bayer Leverkusen fan growing up.
