Jennifer Lopez puts on a stylish display in blue blouse and faux leather midi skirt ahead of The View appearance

Jennifer Lopez looked incredible as she stepped out in New York City on Thursday morning.

The 54-year-old singer put on a stylish display in a bright blue button-down blouse paired with a figure-hugging, faux leather midi skirt and a floor-sweeping, cozy trench coat.

She made a fashionable arrival and was met with a crowd of fans at ABC Studios ahead of her appearance on The View.

The Marry Me actress — who revealed she gets jealous when people hit on her husband Ben Affleck — added inched to her height in a pair of lace-up boots with very high heels and tall platforms.

On the same day, she also announced her upcoming This Is Me… Now tour in support of her new album, her musical film and documentary.

While making her promo tour, she showed off only one of her very many chic looks.

To match her patent leather statement shoes, she carried a crocodile-embossed Hermes handbag.

She threw up her brunette tresses into a slicked-back ponytail to showcase a pair of shiny, silver earrings.

She wore a monochromatic, rosy pink makeup look and sported oversize, rectangular sunglasses.

While chatting to the hosts of The View, she revealed that her twin teenagers are not always fans of her style.

When asked if Max and Emme, both 15, really are ‘tough critics’, she confirmed that they are not afraid to be honest to their famous mother.

At first, she told the hosts about how her kids told her they liked her older album, This Is Me… Then, more than her new one.

‘So when I went in to do This Is Me… Now, I kind of approached it in the same way — obviously I was inspired by the same subject,’ she explained. ‘And so I went in there.

‘And so when they heard this one, and they saw the movie just the other night at the premiere, they were, I think, really blown away,’ she continued.

‘They were like, “Whoa. You did this? This is what you’ve been doing?”‘ she recalled.

‘And suddenly, you are all that,’ co-host Whoopi Goldberg said.

‘Just for a second though,’ she responded. ‘Then it’s right back to “Mom, don’t wear the crop top!”‘

During her appearance, The View also reportedly censored Lopez’s response to one of the co-host’s questions, according to a report by Entertainment Weekly.

When asked by co-host Ana Navarro about how she told Variety that she self-financed her $20 million three-part multimedia project, the live audio was cut short.

‘I think it was hard for people to understand what I was trying to do,’ she began. ‘I didn’t want to do videos or a collection of videos. That wasn’t the goal. It’s not quite a long-form movie. It’s somewhere in between.’

She continued: ‘It’s kind of like this meta musical kind of thing. That’s like a new thing, and I wanted to do a new thing.

This Is Me… Now, both Lopez’s album and film, will be released on Friday and tells the story of her and Affleck’s love story and fated reunion; seen in November 2023

‘I think a lot of people couldn’t understand it, so nobody wanted to finance it and nobody wanted to put it on their services,’ she added.

‘It was like, trust me. This is something new and exciting. At the end of the day, I was like, you know…’ she said before the audio was muted.

When the show’s audio came back, Lopez was laughing and the audience was applauding.

‘…And then I’ll show them. I’ll show them!’ she said. ‘Then, when I showed them, they were like, “Oh, we love that!”‘

Her album and musical movie, both titled This Is Me… Now, are set to debut on Friday, February 16.

Her documentary, The Greatest Love Story Never Told, will be released on February 27.
