West Ham sporting director Mark Noble has insisted that Liverpool’s interest in Jarrod Bowen doesn’t worry him.

Bowen has been an integral part of the Hammers’ recent successes since joining in 2020 and was recently rewarded for his efforts, signing a long-term deal at the club that is said to run until 2030.

The former Hull City star’s recent form has led to no shortage of admirers from across the Premier League, including Jurgen Klopp.

Speaking prior to Liverpool’s dominant display against the Hammers in the EFL Cup earlier this week Klopp named Bowen as his current ‘favourite player’ outside of his own squad.

Klopp has long maintained an interest in the forward, having being linked with a move for Bowen as far back as 2021, however the 27-year-old’s new contract may deter an official approach in January.

Speaking on the Liverpool boss’ recent comments prior to West Ham’s clash with Manchester United, Noble admitted he understood Klopp’s admiration for Bowen but added that a move is unlikely.

‘To be honest, it didn’t worry me because he’s just signed a new long-term deal with us a month ago.’ Noble said on TNT Sports.

‘I think Liverpool and Jurgen (Klopp) have always been big fans of Jarrod (Bowen). With the way that Jurgen sets his teams up and the way he plays.’

Asked by Paul Scholes whether Bowen’s contract contains a buyout clause Noble elected to keep his cards close to his chest.

‘I am not telling you!’ He continued.

Since arriving at the club Bowen has made 179 appearances in all competitions, netting 52 goals, including 10 from 16 in the Premier League this season.

Bowen also netted the pivotal 90th-minute winner that saw the club defeat Fiorentina to capture the Europa Conference League in June.
