Travis Kelce headed for a snowy Mile High ahead of the Chiefs’ NFL game vs. the Broncos – but new flame Taylor Swift is expected to swerve Sunday’s clash.
The budding romance between Chiefs tight end Kelce and the pop sensation has dominated the NFL over recent weeks.
Swift has already been in the stands for four Chiefs game this season, with each one ending in a victory for Patrick Mahomes and Co – including a previous matchup with the Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium.
But she is expected to miss Sunday’s trip to Colorado, when the 6-1 Chiefs will look to win a seventh straight game.
Kelce and his teammates will have to tackle brutal conditions as well as the Broncos after Denver was hit by a snow storm.
Temperatures were around 24 degrees as Kelce left the team hotel on Sunday afternoon, wearing a fluorescent green hat and patterned thick sweater.
Up to 14ins were forecast in the Colorado capital this weekend and footage – released a few hours before kick-off – showed cars making their way down snow-covered roads.
Mile High did not escape the conditions, with the stadium a sea of white as staff battled to clear the field in time for the game.
Elsewhere, Swift is reportedly preparing for the South American leg of her international tour.
Earlier this week, Kelce had teased a Halloween ‘surprise’ on the latest episode of New Heights – claiming he will ‘get the gang together’ for a mysterious dinner party, without directly naming Swift.
The pair were spotted on a date night in New York City earlier this month, before making cameos on an instalment of Saturday Night Live.
‘I’m going to let mine be a surprise,’ he said of his costume. ‘I’ll make sure everybody sees it. We’ll talk about it after Halloween.
‘I’m pretty sure we are going to get the gang together and have a nice little dinner, or dinner party.. everybody comes in costumes and we have a party. A Halloween dinner party.’
