The launch of the new golf apparel brand comes with the announcement of Wood’s return to PGA Tour competition at the 2024 Genesis Invitational, which begins on Feb. 15 and runs until Feb. 18.

“I have learned so much over the years and have a lifetime of experience adjusting my apparel and footwear to help me play better based on the way it was constructed,” Mr. Woods said in a statement. “There are things that I could tell you that no one knew I was doing over the years. I’m ready to share those secrets with the world.”

What is Sun Day Red?

In a news release on the Sun Day Red website, the clothing brand will sell both athletic and lifestyle wear and the brand will include men’s, women’s and children’s styles as well as footwear.

According to the New York Times, TaylorMade CEO David Abeles gave insights into the decision of the name.

“Sunday red is the color that Mr. Woods has made very famous on Sundays,” Abeles said. “But Mr. Woods plays golf on more than just Sundays.”

Sun Day Red will first offer men’s apparel including golf shirts, hoodies, and outerwear. It will be available online in the US and Canada starting May 1st. The line will later expand to include footwear, women’s, and children’s clothing.

According to the New York Times, prices for Sun Day Red clothing will range from $115 to $350. Polos will cost $115 to $175 and cashmere sweaters will range from $250 to $350.
