YouTuber Ryan Taylor is ‘ARRESTED’ just three days before he is set to feature on the undercard of KSI’s grudge match with Tommy Fury… forcing his rematch with Swarmz to be CANCELLED

  • It would have been their second fight after Swarmz beat Taylor in January
  • Taylor has reportedly been arrested, and the fight has been cancelled

YouTuber Ryan Taylor has reportedly been arrested, forcing his rematch against fellow influencer Swarmz on the undercard of KSI’s clash with Tommy Fury on Saturday to be cancelled.

Taylor’s first fight with Swarmz in January ended in farcical circumstances as the former refused to fight on in the first round after claiming there had been a clash of heads, while the referee deemed Swarmz to have landed a legal punch.

Swarmz was declared the winner by knockout, but the pair agreed to meet again to settle their differences.

However, Taylor has allegedly been arrested three days before the fight, according to boxing outlet Happy Punch, and the bout has now been called off. The reason for the arrest is yet to be confirmed.

Misfits Boxing promoter Mams Taylor confirmed the fight would no longer go ahead during a live stream of The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani on Wednesday night.

He added that Swarmz will find out shortly whether he will still feature on the card against a replacement opponent.

Saturday night was due to be Taylor’s fifth crossover boxing fight, and he is still looking for his first win.

The 30-year-old was disqualified on his debut in March 2022 in an exhibition bout against DK Money and then drew with former Bellator star Anthony Taylor four months later.

He followed that up by losing to Slim Albaher on points last October before his bizarre defeat to Swarmz.

A final decision on Taylor’s involvement in this weekend’s pay-per-view event is yet to be made, but is expected shortly.

It promises to be an intriguing night of boxing, with Fury aiming to build on his win over Jake Paul by taking care of KSI.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer is not short of confidence, though, and has vowed to stop Fury when they finally meet in the ring in Manchester.

But Taylor will not be joining the pair at the AO Arena after being ruled out of the card just days before it is set to take place.
